Increase your wellbeing on all levels — from physical health to spiritual growth.

When the devotee perceives the varied states of being as abiding in the One, and from that alone emanating outward, Absolute Reality is realized.

-Roy Eugene Davis

“Becoming spiritually awake is a choice.

At the core of every person there is both a knowing and an experience: that we are abiding in one absolute field of pure consciousness, and that our true nature is without suffering, want, desire, or need. It is a fact of life that every person, whether they know it or not, is seeking, and is already in the process of awakening to this truth.

The Kriya Yoga lineage I represent is the path of making that choice consciously, working with and expediting the natural process of having our awareness restored to the truth that already is. This restoration of consciousness is what is known as spiritual enlightenment, or spiritual awakening. It is not something that is created, but something that is Self-revealed.

We reach our highest potential by becoming established in the knowing and experience of our natural state. It is not for the special or the few, it is the birthright of everyone, and the outcome of those who truly chose to become awake.

The illusion of having time can rob us of our freedom. There is only "now" or "not now."

Choose now to align all of your efforts, energy, actions, and attention toward life's highest potential, and live spiritually awake. Ignore anything or anyone that tells you it isn't possible to be fully spiritually awake. Every positive action, small or large, has a positive impact. If you can't yet imagine yourself fully spiritually awake, start by imagining yourself more functional, happier, healthier, more prosperous, until you can.

Commit yourself fully. Engage in deep learning, then practice what is learned, and stay inspired. Do what has to be done to steadily, maturely take greater responsibility for your life, then let go and enjoy the process. Bare witness to the guiding, loving, enlivening grace that is within you, all around you, and that has always supported your awakening. The solution to suffering and ignorance is known; all that remains is the doing. No one can do it for you.

Choose now, and renounce the thief of life’s highest potential”

Ryan Strong

Spiritual Director of Living Kriya Yoga

There is a way to live that leads to genuine peace, purpose, healing, and self-empowerment. Ryan Strong has spent his life learning it, practicing it, and sharing it with others.

He began his search at seventeen, sensing there was more to life, and began to study Kriya Yoga on his own. At nineteen, he had the great fortune of finding a teacher, Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, ordained by him in 1951, who went on to teach Kriya Yoga for more than sixty years. Ryan stayed close to Roy for seventeen years, learning not just techniques, but how to live. In 2011, after eleven years of study, Mr. Davis ordained him to teach and initiate others into Kriya Yoga, carrying this teaching forward.

Ryan has taught Kriya Yoga and meditation since 2005. He served as Senior Minister for the Center for Spiritual Awareness from 2021 to 2022. Alongside this work, he spent over fifteen years practicing Clinical Ayurvedic medicine and over ten years teaching Ayurveda professionally, training more than a thousand students across the United States and internationally. He is a board-certified Ayurvedic Doctor and Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist through the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, and practices and teaches Jyotish, the science of Vedic Astrology. Ryan helped create the Kriya Yoga Alliance, an online teaching platform for Truth seekers and fellow Kriya Yogis of all lineages, in 2023.

In 2025, Ryan created Living Kriya Yoga as a Spiritual Educational Center to continue the authentic transmission of this teaching and to ensure its future, supporting and cultivating both individual spiritual growth and the next generation of teachers.

Ryan's understanding of suffering and the human condition is not theoretical. He spent years working internationally with an aid organization in Mongolia, serving street children, orphans, the poor, and the dying. He has also worked directly inside clinical hospital settings, alongside people facing severe physical, mental, and emotional illness, abuse, and addiction. Kriya Yoga, Ayurveda, and Jyotish offer profound, transformative grace, and Ryan has witnessed it firsthand. This work gave him a rare, close view into real suffering, and into what genuinely helps a mind find its way back to steadiness. He is a father of two, and outside of his work, he is happiest deep in the wilderness, on a long trail, close to the earth.

Roy Eugene Davis often credited Yogananda for making him who he was. Ryan knows this to be true for himself, too — his teacher gave him everything. Ryan watched his Roy tirelessly, earnestly, and modestly serve others— never interested in impressing anyone, only in helping others become strong and wake up. It is this same spirit that Ryan carries forward
